It looks like megastar Congress MP K Chiranjeevi has “ostracized” the family of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy from attending the wedding of his son Ram Charan Teja with Upasana Kamineni, grand daughter of Apollo Group chairman Pratap C Reddy at Moinabad farm house on Thursday.

While Jagan is in Chanchalguda jail as part of the judicial remand in connection with his alleged illegal assets case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation, neither his mother Y S Vijayalakshmi nor any other family member was seen at the wedding. Even YSR Congress party leaders like actress Roja were conspicuous by their absence.

Inquiries revealed that Chiranjeevi might not have invited Jagan’s family at all. An analyst observed that the megastar should have invited at least Vijayamma who was his colleague in the assembly till recently, even if Jagan is in jail. When he can invite his bitter rivals like N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao to the wedding, he could have as well invited Jagan and his family. It shows Chiranjeevi has boycotted the YSR family and that does not augur well for his stature.

As a scribe commented, it would as well further strengthen the feeling among Jagan fans that all the political parties have ganged up against Jaganmohan Reddy!
