Historical Opus For Balayya's Century

It is not a small thing for an actor to have done hundred films and that too in a single language. However, the credit for that goes to Nandamuri Balakrishna and it is heard that his 100th film is being planned in a very grand way. Sources say this is going to be a historical magnum opus.

The man to make this happen is Yalamanchali Saibabu who made ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. It is heard that the story is set on the backdrop of 1300 BC -1700 BC but Balayya is not essaying the role of Sri Krishna Devaraya. The story is about another king who was known as a fearless warrior during that time. Ideally, that era had four dynasties in the form of Sangama, Saluva, Tuluva and Aravidu.

This would be directed by K Raghavendra Rao and the chances are high that Nayantara would be the leading lady. However, when asked about it, Saibabu reportedly refused to divulge any details and maintained that the 100th film would be a grand project. For now, Balayya is busy with his 98th in the form of ‘Srimannarayana’ followed by ‘Aditya 999’ which would be his 99th. Keep watching this space for further details.
