Chiru Sings Gabbar Singh Song!
Even after gaining some experience in politics and becoming a Rajya Sabha member, actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi has not lost his filmy touch while addressing the public gathering.
On Saturday, Chiranjeevi evoked loud cheers from the crowds by saying that it would be “kevvu keka” for them, if they voted for the Congress party in the ongoing by-elections. Obviously, Chiranjeevi wanted to capitalize on the kind of craze among the people for the latest song “Kevvu Keka” in the Telugu film Gabbar Singh, starring his brother Pavan Kalyan.
The Rajya Sabha member denied the allegations of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy that the Congress government was not implementing the programmes and policies introduced by late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. “No programme has come to a halt. Jagan and his daily Sakshi are spreading untruth among the people,” he said.
Chiranjeevi accused Jagan of ditching the Congress which had given him political life. “Just because he had not got the Chief Minister post, he set up his own political outfit and abusing the Congress,” he alleged.
