Eega Cannot Beat Dookudu
When the film ‘Eega’ arrived and began to get a thumping response it became evident that many were waiting to see how far it goes and how many films it beats. The same happened when Pawan Kalyan arrived with his ‘Gabbar Singh’. So, here is a look at a small statistics on the overseas front.
Apparently, ‘Gabbar Singh’ could not cross ‘Dookudu’ in Karnataka and Overseas. In AP, it could not beat ‘Magadheera’. When it comes to ‘Eega’ vs ‘Dookudu’, in US ‘Gabbar Singh’ made $ 1.5 million whereas ‘Dookudu’ touched $ 2.2 million and remained unbeatable.
Now, with ‘Eega’ in the picture, it is heard that it crossed ‘Gabbar Singh’ comfortably as it already touched $1.5 million but to cross ‘Dookudu’ in overseas, it is impossible. That way, Mahesh Babu still commands the overseas box office in a big way. Better luck next time Rajamouli!
