After a long wait the film ‘Eega’ has arrived and it has not disappointed the audience. The next step that many are focusing on is the collections of the film. Of course, comparisons and speculations are already making rounds on ‘Eega’ beating the likes of ‘Gabbar Singh’ or even ‘Magadheera’.

For now, here is the collections report. Sources reveal the Tamil rights were sold for Rs 5 crores whereas the satellite rights were sold for Rs 5.5 cr. The overseas rights reportedly fetched Rs 2 crores. From the theatres front, the 3 days collection has reported Rs 11 crores share only in Telugu.

The film was made at a budget of Rs 30 crores so the difference is just 9 crores to break even. The trade gurus have predicted that the swing is up so by the coming weekend, this point will be reached and profits will begin to roll. With news that ‘Julayi’ is postponed, the coast is clear for ‘Eega’ to fly high.
