Shirdi Sai Missed Nativity?

Nagarjuna’s magnum opus film ‘Shirdi Sai’ released yesterday and has been getting good response as many family audiences and Sai Devotees have waited eagerly for the movie to release. The movie will surely reach the Baba devotees but general audience may not like that much. The film is mostly shot in rural locations to give an authentic feeling of Shirdi where Baba lived, but nativity misses in most of the sequences.

The costumes used for the movie are appropriate of the local Shirdi people of that era, but the director should have taken more care on the slang of the artists. With this the originality or nativity missed in the film. K.Raghavendra Rao has directed the film and Mahesh Reddy has produced it on Sai Krupa Entertainments banner. MM Keeravani has scored the music and the songs are the major asset for the film.

Hope the movie will score blockbuster like Nag-Raghavendra Rao & Keeravani combo earlier devotional films- Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu.
